Bringing it back: Rattan trends

Gabby Home and Summer Classics wanted to go after the trendy rattan in indoor and outdoor furniture. Below I sketched up a lounge and chaises lounge profiles.

I moved right from sketching to quickly building my ideas in CAD and then doing multiple iterations. 

Final Choices

Gabby decided on two indoor rattan chaise lounges with cushions - with arms and one without arms. 

Summer Classics went with this arched form and flat bed. We changed the adjustment hooks to nobs in order to create a more elegant and simple form.

Since outdoor furniture is normally sold in sets, I designed regular lounges to go with the chaise lounge. You can see the armed and arm-less options below.

Update!
