The goal was to create a stretched leather chair, while still staying in the realm of "glitzy" and "eclectic."

Final Choices

The crossed leather chair with brass metal (seen above) was hard for the team to decide on and was thrown out. The simple leather dining chair below was selected and we sent the CAD files on to our team in China to create a sample.

Other leather thoughts

These forms below were done for another project brief, going after hexagonal forms. We decided to pull these form studies into an ottoman project instead.

Hexagon ottoman

Since the hexagonal coffee tables didn't move forward, I decided to pull them into a ottoman design. I mixed the tufted leather with a brushed brass hexagonal base to create a unique eclectic Gabby look.
